Had some interesting vegan dishes at @wonderland_ljubljana in Slovenia! 🌱✨
I started with the fruit tea and beetroot hummus – fresh and full of flavour, followed by the dreamy hazelnut pesto gnocchi (ask for the vegan option) and
finished with a rich black rice risotto with truffles, which was absolutely glorious! 🫶🏼
They’ve got some fantastic vegan options though the menu is not fully vegan.
The quirky interior is super fun and adds to the whole vibe. 🍄
Definitely worth a visit if you’re in town! 🙌🏼

Last weekend I visited Ljubljana and found an incr

Last weekend I visited Ljubljana and found an incredible Vegan-friendly restaurant. 🍽️
@gujzna serves traditional Slovenian food but vegan.
For starters I enjoyed the vegan plate with homemade lard and smoked ham. The lard was quite realistic but delicious. It was made of coconut oil and cashews. (You can't taste the coconut) 🥥
The ham was made of seitan.
The main dish was vegan steak in green pepper sauce with dodole. I wish the sauce had been a bit spicier but otherwise 10/10.🌶️
For dessert I had 'Premurska gibanica' which is a traditional Slovenian dessert made of walnuts, poppy seeds, vegan cottage cheese and apples. A perfect way to end the evening. 🍰
The restaurant gets pretty busy in the evening so give them a call to make a reservation.

What I ate in London as a vegan 🌱
1. @dauns_scandifood - fully vegan Scandinavian- inspired cafe, bar and deli. The toastie was 10/10, bursting with flavour, super cheesy and delicious 🤤
2. @nuttea_uk - my favourite bubble tea shop in London. 😍 It's fully vegan and they make their own nut mylk daily 🥜
That chocolate nut cream was so smooth and rich 😮‍💨
3. @dialarchpub - I attended a birthday party at this Vegan-friendly restaurant and went for the puy lentils salad with vegan feta and chips on the side. The salad was quite bland but it satisfied my hunger.
But the crumble was out of this world 😍
4. @dishoom - is a Vegan-friendly Indian restaurant that I've been wanting to dry for years. I had 'The vegan bombay' breakfast and tbf the sausages could've been a bit more flavourful but the buns, tofu scramble and the beans were in-cred-i-ble! 🌿
